Persecution
Born in Baltimore, MD in 1982, I was educated through the public school system. Afterward, I spent time in the United States Navy, where I continued my education in taking both technical training classes and academic correspondence courses. Currently, I hold a B.A. in English Literature from Coppin State University, Spring 2015. Prior to entering Coppin, I attended Benedict College in Columbia, SC as a music education major. Presently, I am working on an M.F.A. in creative writing and publishing at the University of Baltimore.
In the words of Bill Berry @Aaduna lit Mag;
Persecution Avenue
is a pseudonym/nom de plume for a creatively diversified artist who resides in Baltimore, Maryland. His nuanced and layered poetic and spoken word pieces tend to depict “relatable instances of masculine strength and urban struggle.”
